Dispensary Nurse Supervisor

FHCCGLA is a California nonprofit charitable organization that has been providing primary and specialty health care services to low-income and medically underserved patients for nearly 80 years at our two sites in the Los Angeles area.

Qualified candidates must posses a valid license to practice in CA, DEA, AAFP Board certification and references. Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.

SCHEDULE: 40hr a week. Monday thru Friday 8am – 5pm and rotation on Saturday 8am – 1pm.

Responsibilities:

Provide dispensary care according to clinical medical protocols. Dispensary Nurse will:

Dispense medications as prescribed by FHCCGLA providers.

Provide required information and education regarding medication and drug interactions

Accurately complete all required documentation

Ensure that updated educational materials and patient instruction sheets are available and included with every prescription as necessary, consult with Medical Director, FHCCGLA providers, and or consult pharmacist regarding drug interactions.
