Dr. Somsanith is a board certified in family physician who has been a member of our clinical team for over a year. He is a graduate of the Western University of Health Sciences, and completed his training in Family Medicine at the Downey Regional Medical Center.  Dr. Somsanith enjoys working with underserved populations and took an interest in community health after completing a clinical rotation at FHCCGLA.  He speaks medical Spanish

Dr. Darvin is a board certified pediatrician who has worked for FHCCGLA for the past two years.  She is a graduate of the De La Salle Health Science Institute in the Philippines, and completed two residencies in pediatrics at the Medical Center Manilla and at King-Drew Medical Center Los Angeles. She is interested in medical education, working closely with residents from Downey Regional Medical Center. She is fluent in Tagalog and Spanish.

Dr. Nuñez is a board certified family physician who has worked for FHCCGLA for the past two years.  He is a graduate of Harvard Medical School and the UCLA School of Public Health, and completed a residency in Family Medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.  He is interested in improving diabetic care among underserved populations, and advocates for greater access to quality health care for uninsured patients.  Dr. Nuñez has a faculty appointment in the department of Family Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine. He is fluent in Spanish

Dr. Petkar has worked for FHCCGLA for the past three years.  She is a graduate of B.J. Medical College in Pune, India, and completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.   Dr. Petkar practices general medicine with a focus on woman’s health and STD prevention and treatment.  She is credentialed in STD control from the Los Angeles department of Public Health.  She speaks medical Spanish and is fluent in Hindi.

Dr. Ugalde has been a FHCCGLA clinician for the past fifteen years.  He is a graduate of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in Mexico City, and completed a residency in physical and rehabilitative medicine at Washington University in St. Louis, MO.  Dr. Ugalde practices general medicine with a focus on diabetic care.   He is active in AME, an alumni association of UNAM based here in the U.S.  He is fluent in Spanish and French.

Nancy Iannotti is a board certified woman’s health nurse practitioner who has worked for FHCCGLA for the past nineteen years.   Nancy is a graduate of the Cal State Long Beach Nurse Practitioner program, and has focused her practice on prenatal care, family planning, STD prevention and treatment, preventive cancer screenings, and gynecologic care. Nancy is very interested in medical education and enjoys working with residents and nurse practitioner students.  Her experience and dedication has resulted in her taking on senior administrative roles here in the health center. She speaks medical Spanish.

Jaime Vivas is a board certified family nurse practitioner who has worked for FHCCGLA for over a year.  Jaime is a graduate of the Cal State Long Beach Nurse Practitioner program, and has worked closely with adult medical physicians, focusing on adult chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension.  Jaime has worked with underserved populations his entire career having worked for inner city community health centers since receiving his FNP in 2003.   He speaks fluent Spanish.
